Actua and the Andorran embassy participated this Wednesday in the 12th edition of the Forum Portugal Exportador 2017 in Lisbon. The event was aimed at those small and medium enterprises that are taking their first steps in international markets. Actua took advantage of this opportunity to establish contacts with professionals from sectors linked to renewable energy, agri-food, telecommunications and education. Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, accompanied by Cape Verdean President Jorge Carlos Fonseca, visited the Andorran delegation.
The purpose of this edition of the Forum was to diversify export markets and strengthen the relationship between the entities of the sector and reinforce export skills. In one day and in one place, participants had the opportunity to consolidate ideas and receive new incentives. The event closed with 1,500 participants, 34 embassies, 10 consulting offices, 15 bilateral and Portuguese chambers of commerce and 120 national and international speakers, 18 workshops, 32 thematic cafes and 120 national and international speakers.

In addition, an economic mission between Portuguese and Andorran authorities and entrepreneurs was held in Lisbon on Thursday at the headquarters of the Portuguese Agency for Investment and Foreign Trade (AICEP). This business seminar was attended by Andorra’s Minister of Economy, Competitiveness and Innovation, Gilbert Saboya, and the executive administrator of AICEP, António Silva, among others. The meeting was organized by the Government of Andorra, Actua, the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Andorra (CCIS) and AICEP.
