Real estate transaction statistics are published on a quarterly basis and provide information on the real estate transferred, its value, area and number of transactions carried out. As for the statistics on housing and land prices, the data will be published on an annual basis and focuses on the average prices of the property transferred.
The data in this first publication refer to 2017 and highlights the increase in the number of transactions compared to previous years, while the number of real estate transferred, their value and surface area decrease.
Real estate transaction statistics for 2017 show an increase in the number of transactions carried out of 11.6% with respect to 2016. A total of 1,907 real estate transactions were carried out, the highest number since 2010.
The overall increase in the price of housing and land for the assets transferred was 9.6%. Thus, the average price per square metre was 1,525.7 euros.
