The Government approved on Wednesday, a proposal made by the Minister for Justice and Interior, Josep Maria Rossell, the Regulation for general quotas of residency for digital nomads and residency authorizations for participants in the program for entrepreneurs promoted by the ministry of economy, known as entrepreneur visas.
Therefore, a global contingent of 100 places was approved distributed in the following way: 50 places for digital nomads (foreign persons who do not require a specific geographical location in order to carry out their work and who use telecommunications and technology) and 50 places for entrepreneur visas.
These two new models of residency in the Principality of Andorra were first regulated through the approval of the Law 42/2022 on December 1st, regarding digital economy, entrepreneurship and innovation amending Law 9/2012, of May 31st, modifying the immigration Law.
