The president of innovation and new technologies’ cluster of Andorra (ACTinn) Albert Moles, and the president of information technology, electronics and telecommunications cluster of Aragon (Tecnara), Victor Vidal, signed an agreement on Wednesday in Andorra la Vella between the two organizations. The director of Actua, Imma Jiménez was also present. The agreement will create business synergies, sharing knowledge and creating joint projects between the two organizations. More than 120 companies are already part of the two entities (+70 Tecnara and 53 in Actinn).

Imma Jiménez, director of Actua, recalled ” this agreement is one of the first results of the meeting with Aragon’s businessmen organized by Actua, the Government of Andorra and the Government of Aragon, held on April in Zaragoza “and highlighted the growth of the Actua’s cluster of innovation that” in a few months of life has grown from 30 members, to 53″

Meanwhile, Albert Moles and Víctor Vidal agreed on emphasizing that “we want to grow together throughout this venture, sharing knowledge and strategies, as well as organizing interesting projects to increase the competitiveness of both clusters”.

A partnership between two clusters

The agreement will allow the two clusters to work together. ACTinn is the first Actua’s cluster led by the private sector. Tecnara is an internationally consolidated cluster formed in 1986 by technological companies from Aragon. It has currently a turnover of 663 million euros.
