ACTUA and Business France work together on future Andorran economic missions in France

The director of ACTUA, the Andorran Economic promotion agency, Imma Jiménez, the Andorran Ambassador to France, Cristina Rodríguez and the Director of International Cooperation at Business France, Philippe Yvergniaux, met on Monday afternoon at the French agency’s bureau in Paris, to discuss business issues of bilateral interest. The meeting’s purpose was to prepare upcoming Andorran economic missions that will take place in various French regions. Yvergniaux said Business France will provide ACTUA access to the network of national and international economic agencies, members of Francophone and European countries, aiming to increase business contacts between Andorra and France.

Following ACTUA’s request, a training session will be organized in June, addressed to economic agents in the Principality. An expert from Business France will focus on strategies and recommendations to improve the internationalization process of Andorran companies. The meeting also served to discover the process and methodology used by Business France for attracting foreign investment.

Meanwhile the director of ACTUA, Imma Jiménez, informed about the Andorran process of economic opening, and the latest agreements signed with many countries to avoid double taxation (CDI). Jimenez also presented the work being done by the economic promotion agency, and business opportunities for the sectors being promoted in Andorra, such as innovation, health and wellness tourism, education and sports.
