e-Estonia is a government initiative in this country, using technological solutions for interaction between government agencies, the government and citizens. The tool aims to facilitate and simplify administrative procedures, thus enabling a more efficient public administration.

During the conference Sikkut detailed the implementation of the system, created with the aim of becoming open and decentralized, and designed to connect the various services and databases together. It’s been a successful experience, according to the innovation specialist, which therefore contributed to the growth of Estonia in the past decade.

Minister Saboya said in his speech that the idea of sharing this experience in Andorra arose during the visit which took place last September, when he had the opportunity to meet with agents of new technologies sectors dedicated to the design and promotion of e-government and the use of information technologies and communication. Saboya has evaluated the content of the conference as a tool to better visualize the transformation in the administration processes associated with one of the projects the Andorran Government is conducting.
