The French city of Tarbes held on June 11th and 12th, the Mountain Business Summit. This congress brings together mountain experts who address strategic issues such as the role of hydropower electricity in mountain areas, cycling as a sustainable tool in the development of mountain tourism, or innovation as an engine for the industry.
The Actua Innovació’s director, Marc Pons, took part in the round table, ‘The resilience of mountain territories in the face of climate change’. Pons detailed how this issue is being tackled in Andorra and presented the projects “Casa de la Muntanya” and the National Data Hub. He emphasized “with the project Casa de la Muntanya, Andorra wants to create an ecosystem to face the great challenges of mountain areas such as climate change. It is also a model for collaboration between the public administration, companies and researchers”.
Actua also participates in the congress with a stand to present innovative projects and business opportunities in Andorra.
