Actua takes part of the knowledge exchanging platform “Meeting of the Minds” in San Francisco, CA

An Andorran delegation headed by the Secretary of State for Economic Diversification, Josep Maria Missé, the Director of Andorra Telecom, Jordi Nadal, the Director of ADI Imma Jimenez and the Honorary Consul of Andorra to California, Magda Marquet were invited to the annual “Meeting of the Minds” in the city of San Francisco, a platform for knowledge exchange that brings together opinion makers, strategists and technology leaders in the sector.

This year, the meeting talked about technology applied to sustainability in urban environments. The speakers at this conference came from technology development companies that interact transversely to solve everyday problems of large cities through tools such as Big Data.

As part of this annual meeting, the attendants at the “Meeting of the Minds” have the opportunity to organize workshops to develop projects and create partnerships.

The Andorran delegation had the opportunity to meet with entrepreneurs, journalists and idea men in the field of Information Technology, to share the experience of cooperating with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Some entrepreneurs and investors were interested in joining to the project with MIT and programs related to the development of Big Data in Andorra.
