A new Actua’s Education Cluster workshop took place at the Andorran Innovation Space on Wednesday, October 18th. A dozen representatives from public and private organisations took part in the session, led by the Cluster leader, Ferran Costa. Participants discovered the second edition of the Tàndem’s project, and were informed about the most recent initiatives being developed at the cluster.
The director of the International School of Hotel and Tourism Management Vatel, Roser Daban, presented the future strategies of the centre. Also, Loopa’s founding partner, Elisabet Faura, presented her Robotics school. At the end of the session, attendees were able to visit the Andorran Innovation Space, and the projects that are being carried out.
Actua’s Education Cluster
The cluster was born with the aim of promoting educational projects and generating synergies between the public and private sectors. Since its creation, it has helped to set up new educational tools in schools and has collaborated in the implementation of a postgraduate course on mountain studies, among other initiatives.
Currently, it is working on an entrepreneurship plan, along with the Ministry of Education and the Vocational Training Centre (Formació Professional), to encourage the creation of new projects for companies, with the collaboration of professionals in the education sector, and seeks to motivate students’ spirit of innovation and retain local talent.
We would like to highlight that participating in Actua’s clusters is free of charge.
