On Saturday 24 September, Actuatech Foundation presented the first pilot of the self-driven Persuasive Electric Vehicle (PEV), a project of the Foundation ActuaTech under the partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Tecnology (MIT), to promote Andorra as a “Living lab” country. The demonstration will take place in the Co-prínceps square, Escaldes Engordany.
The demonstration will be provided by the team of MIT researchers led by Kent Larson, technical director of the “Media Lab” department.
The Minister of Public Administration, Transport and Telecommunications, Jordi Alcobé; the Minister of Education and Higher Education Eric Jover; and the Secretary of State for Economic Diversification, Josep Maria Missé will attend the event. The Mayors of Escaldes-Engordany, Trini Marin and Marc Calvet will join the delegation.
The US consul general in Andorra, Marcos C. Mandojana, will travel to Andorra to witness the demonstration as well.
