The seventh edition of the Andorra Business Subsidies program has closed the first call of 2024, awarding 81,263€ to 18 companies in the country. The beneficiaries are mainly from the health and wellness, education, IT, and new technologies sectors. Some of these funds will be used for international promotion plans, advisory services for obtaining voluntary certifications, client search tools, international promotions…
In this regard, Andorra Business Director Judit Hidalgo recalled that the second and final call of the year will open on October 2nd and emphasized that “the goal of the Andorra Business grants program is to support the transformation of Andorran companies into value-added, innovative, and competitive businesses, well-positioned to face challenges and take advantage of international market opportunities.”
The total budget for this year is 180,000€, of which 85% will go to companies with a turnover of up to €350,000, and the remaining 15% to companies with turnovers between 350,000€ and 3,000,000€.
Some examples of services that can be subsidized through this program include:
- Innovation: Specialized studies on new business lines, development, and certifications for marketing products both in Europe and internationally…
- Internationalization: Analysis of the economic feasibility of potential internationalization, support and advisory services for international expansion, establishment of branches in international markets, advisory services for international trade shows, design and setup of international trade show booths, international promotion, and other promotional tools…
- Business Optimization: HR research specializing in recruitment processes, advisory services for obtaining voluntary ISO certifications, among others.
- ESG – Sustainability: Corporate sustainability audits, strategic advisory services, carbon footprint studies, feasibility studies for sustainable projects, etc.
- Business Equality: Services to help companies implement business equality plans, including promoting effective equality between men and women in the workplace and complying with legal gender equality obligations.
