The Andorran Minister of Presidency, Economy, Labor, and Housing, and president of Andorra Business, Conxita Marsol, held an extensive schedule of meetings in Paris to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Andorra and France in labor, entrepreneurship, and economic promotion. These initiatives align with Andorra Business´s strategy to boost the country´s internationalization and strengthen ties with France, a key economic and labor partner.
During the visit, Marsol met with Thibaut Guilluy, director general of labor for the French government, to address workforce needs specific to both territories.
The visit also included a tour of Station F, the world´s largest startup campus, spanning 34,000 m² and housing over 3,000 jobs, it is an international reference in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. The Andorran delegation explored opportunities to foster collaboration between entrepreneurs, reviewed various incubation and acceleration programs, and engaged with French and multinational companies. A strategic collaboration between Station F´s entrepreneurship programs and the Andorran government was proposed to support Andorran startups.
Marsol also met with Yann de Pontbriand, president of the Automobile Club of France, to explore potential agreements and prepare for a future presentation of Andorra to the club´s members at its Paris headquarters.
In the afternoon, she met with investors interested in opening businesses in Andorra, as well as Marc Ouayoun, director general of the Peter Auto Group, known for organizing historic car races such as the Tour Auto, the Le Mans Classic and the Rally des Princesses. The group has received support from Andorra Business.
Tomorrow, the Minister will travel to Toulouse to meet with 90 French businesspeople and present Andorra´s strategic opportunities in technology, tourism, and commerce. She will also give interviews to various media outlets to enhance the country´s visibility as a destination for investment and innovation.
