The Government and the Chamber of Commerce launch the first training for employees as agreed in the Strategic Plan for Shopping Tourism

The Government and the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services have designed a new action within the framework of the Strategic Plan for Shopping Tourism. On April 9th, the Secretary of State for Trade and Competitiveness, Neus Soriano, and the Vocational Training, Adult Training and Educational Resources Director, Joaquim Torredà, presented the first basic program for retail professionals, starting on May 28th.

The Strategic Plan for Shopping Tourism identified over a hundred actions to be developed, including trainings for retail professionals. Thus, the first session will consist on “shopping experience at points of sale” for retail professionals.

This retail training is a free pilot test of 34 hours distributed between May 28th and June 18th. The Government bears the cost, which is approximately 4,000 euros.

The training will be structured in three modules: Customer satisfaction and retention at the point of sale; International customer service (basic English and French business vocabulary); and Creativity at the point of sale. This session will be held in the Andorran Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services.

The Secretary of State for Trade and Competitiveness, Neus Soriano, has encouraged trade managers to promote their employees’ participation during working hours, and mentioned this training is open to any retail professional in Andorra.
