Both entities have also engaged in evaluating the possibility of jointly generating studies, reports and projects of interest; simultaneously previewing analysis, design, production and execution of workshops, events, sessions and formation centered around the sports industry in Catalunya and Andorra. Assistance from different administrations will also be sought –both local and international in the elaboration of joint projects, exchange of commerce and knowledge will be promoted among the members of the participating clusters.

The president of INDESCAT, Anna Pruna, valued this “strategic alliance” as extremely positive, given that “Catalunya and Andorra have many points in common in certain segments of the sports industry, we are very close to each other and joining efforts and visions will help us grow and generate new opportunities for both clusters as well as for the members of each”. For Pruna, the signing of this agreement demonstrates that “despite the difficulties we are facing due to the crisis caused by the COVID-19 epidemic, the clusters´ work goes on and we continue looking for opportunities to boost and generate competitivity within the sector´s companies”.

Furthermore, David Hidalgo, president of the Andorra Sports Cluster, stated that “collaboration with a consolidated cluster such as INDESCAT will definitely aid in our growth and help establish contacts with the many companies and entities connected to sports in Catalunya with regards to future projects that will add competitivity and innovation to the Andorran sports sector”.
