The last time Andorra hosted a final stage of the Spanish round in the city center was in 1991. It is an unusual event, since normally the stages of La Vuelta tend to end at high altitude. Monday’s 158.5 km long route runs between Prada de Conflent (France), and will enter Andorra through the Spanish-Andorran border at 4:20 p.m., going over the ports of La Rabassa (1st category) and La Comella (2nd Category), until reaching Carrer Prat de la Creu of Andorra la Vella.
Cycling fans will be able to enjoy the publicity caravan, which will take the route, except for the mountain ports of La Rabassa and La Peguera until arrival. In addition, the Parque Vuelta will be installed at Parc Central, which will be open on Monday, -08- 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., where various adult and children’s activities will be organized.
The start of the fourth stage of La Vuelta will take place on Tuesday, -08- 22nd, from Carrer dels Veedors, in Escaldes-Engordany. All schedules are approximate and may vary depending on race speed.
