Therefore, Actuatech will fund a three year postgraduate grant, addressed to students willing to develop their doctoral thesis at the University of Andorra, beginning this very year 2016. The amount destined to the grant is $ 15,000 per year. The Ministry of Education and Higher Education will be responsible for publishing the criteria, evaluation and awarding of the doctorate.

This grant is already been awarded with three projects chosen. The resolution will be announced during the month of October.
The projects undertaken by the Actuatech Foundation are being developed with the aim of promoting innovation in Andorra in sectors such as tourism, telecommunications and mobility. Actuatech is currently collaborating with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). This collaboration has been ongoing since May 2015, in the creation of Big Data that will provide analytical information about Andorra allowing, in real time, both the public sector the private to develop economic plans according to the data collected. As both Jover and Missé agreed during their press conference, providing content and a path for these projects is the key to generate knowledge around them to continue this commitment to innovation.
