The business meeting held this Friday in Andorra brought together over 70 entrepreneurs and representatives of Andorran and Occitan companies in the ICT sector, with the aim of fostering strategic collaborations and exploring new cross-border business opportunities. The event is part of the Cross-Border Dialogue between Andorra and Occitanie and is the result of joint work carried out within the ICT table of the Economic Working Group, created in May 2023.

The session, organized by Andorra Business and Andorra Digital, began with an address by the Secretary of State for Digital Transformation and Telecommunications, Marc Rossell, who emphasized that “this event was created with the aim of generating real and sustainable economic synergies, facilitating direct contact between companies from both territories to promote collaborations that help energize our economic fabric.”

He also highlighted the strategic vision that this event represents within the country’s transformation process: “Andorra is immersed in an economic diversification strategy, aiming to attract talent, investment, and high added-value business activity. Collaboration with Occitanie, with whom we share historical and geographical ties, is a natural opportunity to grow our economies together.”

Throughout the day, initiatives and solutions were presented in areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and training in digital skills. Afterwards, a networking session and bilateral meetings were held, allowing participants to establish direct contacts and explore new collaborative projects.

The meeting was very positively received by attendees, who agreed on the usefulness of such events in strengthening ties and generating new cross-border business opportunities within an open, competitive digital economy.
