The number of visitors in Andorra during 2016 was 8,057,325, representing an increase of 2.6% over 2015, according to the Statistics Department’s last report of the Government of Andorra.
The number of tourists (people who stay overnight at least one night in the Principality) were 2,831,440 people, representing an increase of 6.3%. The number of hikers (one-day visitors) was 5,225,885 people, which means a 0.7% increase.
Last December 2016, 790,213 visitors entered the country, 8.5% more than the same period last year. The number of tourists was 308,558 (+ 22.3%) and 481,655 hikers (+ 1.2%).
With regards to exports in January 2017, the volume stood at 6.81 million euros, with an annual variation of + 28.8%. Imports were valued at 102.88 million, with an annual variation of + 22.4%.
