The thirteenth cluster of Education introduces new academic trainings establishing in the country

The Actua program’s cluster of Education has held this Wednesday its thirteenth session. Ferran Costa, leader of the cluster, presented the speakers of the session and their projects, before twenty participants. The promoter of the project Escola d’Hosteleria i Turisme Vatel, David Fraissinet, and Head of the school’s Andorran delegation, Roser Daban, presented the project for the establishment of this prestigious educational institution in the country and announced its opening by this coming September 2016.

Vatel will provide a certified bachelor on tourism, in English and Spanish, willing to attract international students.

Jean Beauvillain presented Sport-Études Andorra, a plan to support students (individually or in small groups) of any of the country’s education systems in order to combine sports practice and studies. In addition, Beauvillain reported they are in contact with the various federations to offer their plan for all sorts of sports.

Doctor Àngels Codina shared experiences from the scientific conference for a new educational perspective she promoted in the country, and offered the possibility of applying this educational system in the country. Codina proposed to educate children on the basis of psychology and emotions.

Finally, the Development Director of the Centre Superior d’Hosteleria del Mediterrani, Angel Campillo, presented its proposal for professional training in the country. The center is already being implemented in Sant Julià de Lòria, with the intention to be operational in September 2016, coinciding with the new academic year.

The centre aims to provide semi-presential studies for both national and foreign students, and will also provide training to staff working in the hospitality and food sector, combined with additional specialized masters in these matters. Through the exchange of students, the intention is to bring a lot of students from Europe, Asia and South America.
