The number of registered people at Servei d’Ocupació continues to decline, and stood at 301 people in December, a drop of -23.4% compared to November, and 25.5 % less than the same period last year. Thus, the number of unemployed in December is the lowest recorded in the last eight years.
Also, the total number of employees registered in the Caixa Andorrana de Seguretat Social (CASS), was 35,007 in October, an increase of 1.8% compared to the same month last year.
By sectors, “Education” (+ 7.3%), the “Production and distribution of electricity, gas and water” (6.7%), and “Health and veterinary activities, social services” ( + 6.1%) are those that have experienced a greater increase in number of employees.
