ADI’s director (Actua-Invest in Andorra), Judit Hidalgo, presented on Tuesday, February 27th, the opportunities offered by Andorra along with the strategy of opening to foreign capital and diversification, at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The event took place at the Business France’s stand. Miquel Gouarré, head of the NIU (Andorra Telecom business incubator/accelerator), also participated.
Gouarré presented Andorra Telecom’s diversification strategy and its purpose to promote the growth of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) sector in Andorra. The incubator, opened in December 2016, is one of the central axes to boost technology companies.
Over 100,000 professionals from 200 countries attend the MWC each year, most of them top executives. There are 2,300 exhibiting companies in the 120,000 square metres set up by Fira de Barcelona.
